This course is not about how to cook, but how to cook better (with FOODSAFE guidance, equipment suggestions, shortcuts, sourcing ingredients, etc.). This will result in getting towards better and healthier meals. Simple demos will be offered; tasting will be instructional to get better results. Learn simple tips on smart buying, storing, baking, cooking, BBQing, and plating. Gather a few fail-proof recipes and perhaps enjoy a field trip. Course Leader: James Derry

Obtain the necessary certification to work in the food service industry. This course covers important food safety and worker safety information including food borne illness, recieving and storing food, preparing food, serving food, cleaning and sanitizing. Certificates will be valid for 5 years from the date of issue.
